Antique Saddles for Sale





ANTIQUE SADDLES
For Sale

I will be selling the following saddles. I am still determining their values but I am posting photos and information now so that you will know what will be offered. If you are interested, contact me so that I can notify you about prices or time and place of auction when I know that. If you have information that will help me determine their value, I will appreciate hearing that from you - even if you are not yourself interested in purchasing.
  1. HH Heiser 1880’s or before. Square skirt, full double rigged slick fork in very good condition. Stamped with #44. I have ridden it and it is very comfortable.

  2. Another similar saddle of similar vintage. I am attempting to determine maker but the stamp is barely legible. Front skirt has another stamp “Warranted steel fork”. Quite good condition but slightly lighter built than the Heiser.

  3. Hamley single rigged brass horn saddle. Probably pre-1920s. Though it shows scuffs and wear it is very sound and can be used as is.

  4. McLellan US Army saddle tree. Stamp “AHB” on right rear skirt. Stamp “R” on left front skirt. Well worn leather. No stirrups or stirrup straps. Solid and sound tree.
